On the deathbed, your grandfather uttered the word "journal". Knowing almost nothing about it, you decided to finally get in contact with the long forgotten part of your family.
Short and text-heavy game, originally without any fanciful mechanics. First game in the "Malnour" series, it focues mainly on the Journal and person who wrote it.
Original game version is inferior to the rewrite, as it is archaic and not very game-like. New version adds inventory, map and other things reducing the irritation while playing (and, of course, the English language support). In addition, connecting the game with Metsillian account (for achievements and cloud saves) is supported only by the rewrite.
Rewrite of the Journal is under CC BY-NC 4.0 license, while original version license is CC BY-NC-ND - because of the various story fragments that have been retconned, that game version is no longer canon and we don't want anyone to use it in any way.
