Mining game, with focus on mineral extraction and processing. Travel through the universe, digging through soil and searching for various materials on massive, procedurally generated maps. Crush, sift and smelt your ore, manufacture your own fuel and even build your own mining machine from scratch.
While there will be a story campagin, it will not stop you if you don't want it - every story mission (even the "core" ones) will have its own story-free alternative that can unlock additional content, normally hidden behind the campaign. And you can skip those too!
Additionaly, Straight to The Core will offer modding tools, for creation of the new ores, planets, mineral generation systems and more.
Because of the sheer scale of content that have to be done for the game to exist, it will have CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license with the exclusion of mods and similar materials made for the game. Additionaly, you can rewrite core game elements, create other games using its code etc. for non-commercial purposes (and credit, somewhere). We don't want mobile copies of the game, that are filled with ads and microtransactions.
